I just bought a savage 112 in 220 swift finally took it to the range and WOW! I put a scope that I had lying around in the garage on it and within 8 rounds I could consistantly put 3 to 4 rounds on the bullseye touching each other at 100 yards. I am very impressed and now think I may need to get another savage in the near future.

Savage makes some great rifles. I have a 110 .243 that I purchased in the 1980s; it has an awful trigger, but it has always been a sub moa shooter with many different loads.

Savage makes a heck of a rifle. I've owned several, and will continue to buy from them into the future. I've got a 10FP-SR on the way and I can hardly wait to get out to the range with it.

The only thing I dont like about my Savage FP110 heavy barrel is it shoots a lot better than I do. I cant blame bad shots on the rifle. :D

My first gun ever was a Savage .22 rifle with a scope. It was cheap, but it sure has been a lot of fun! Enjoy it and congrats on your purchase!

Nod to the Savages as well! Have a Savage .22 that is a great little gun.

The only thing holding me back from another Savage is deciding what to get! .270? .223? .308?

I personally haven't had great luck with a Savage, but the 220 Swift is a great round to knock down coyotes or any other varmint you can find and as you have seen, paper punching.
