Well, if you don't get out and actively participate and campaign for the elected officials you really want, you 'deserve' the government you get.

Being indifferent just doesn't cut it, any more. Nor does 'just voting', for those that do. And plenty don't.

Being a part of that 'silent majority' simply isn't going to work in this day & age. THAT'S how this country ended up with the current train wreck for the POTUS. The most questionable, inexperienced, unknowledgeable, incompetent, ineffectual, slothful, scandal-ridden, anti-American, socialist President in history.

Since certain members of INGO chose not to believe the Federal Government and the current administration is not into large scale land grabs, I thought I would start a thread to dispel their beliefs. ( Post any news article links if you have them)

So you believe the Homestead Act of 1905 was intended to shrink the size of the wind river reservation?

"So you believe the Homestead Act of 1905 was intended to shrink the size of the wind river reservation? '

Seems the Governor and the Ag. think so.

Gov. Mead added, "The Attorney General's petition shows that, in conjunction with the Tribes, Congress diminished the Wind River Reservation in 1905.

Care to give a dissertation on why they are wrong?

The heads of these government entities are not elected positions. And aside from 3 Cabinet-level groups, I would bet money POTUS doesn't give any of them much attention. It may be his reading material when he has to answer the call of nature, but I doubt it's more than that.

Sadly there is much more to it than that. Voter ID laws, IRS limiting the tea party in the federal election, documented dead people voting w/out repercussions, voter intimidation w/out repercussions, people voting multiple times w/out repercussions (I think one lady did a little time and was still hailed in the media as a hero), more people voting in a county than voting age people that reside in that county, media destroying our good candidates in the primaries leaving us with a pub liberal, conservatives cannot get together because so many people get behind the PC issues, this is only the start.
I am not saying we should curl up in a ball and cry. I am saying it is going be a long very difficult road, if at this point with this Supreme Court it will even be possible. Most of us do not deserve the govt we got. Our govt has been stolen from us. This started a long time before I was of voting age.
