Hey all, lived in Plainfield for about 10 years, moved here from GA via Springfield, IL via So IL and originally from Chicago, my Dad is retired CPD. Fortunately he taught me firearms safety early in my life, we hunted, and archery and firearms are two things I have always enjoyed. Recently my wife had a little scare here in town when someone approached her while she was in her car. Fortunately she had enough sense to take off, she called me and the police and was able to flag down LE while calling 911. They caught the turd before I could get there and I asked her after 16+ years of being together if she was ready to go shoot and get a gun of her own and she said yes! I think now I created a monster, she's really enjoying shooting and I have to say she's a pretty damn good shot! Just wish we had somewhere close to go. Keep your powder dry!

Jetmech, you could also look into this one:Danville Conservation Club

It's about a 30-40 mins from you depending on where in Plainfield and they will take rifle calibers as well.
