Just thought I would let everyone know, that Menards has a
Stack On, 16 gun safe on sale for $300, marked down from
$389. Sale ends Aug. 28th, I think. Combination lock only.
I'm gonna pick one up tomorrow after work. :ingo:

I got the safe, it is a security safe, not a fire safe, not insulated at all.
But it better than nothing, which is what I had. And it is bolted to the floor.

Thanks for the hot tip. A handgun safe and some of the smaller long gun safes are also on sale. I came home with the 18 gun convertible, $200 on sale for $170.

If ever building a new house, just pour 10in think concrete walls and ceiling with a safe door in it. Make sure to make it plenty big, everyone will want to bring their guns over to put in it!

Steel reinforced concrete, kevlar coated with 3/4" thick steel plates in the middle? Vented with dehumidifier? Now we're talking.
