Gunsmith to restore shotgun?

I have a Winchester model 12 that was my wife's grandfather's favorite. I want to have it cleaned / restored to be a special Mother's day present. I'm looking for suggestions on where to take it. I live just southeast of Indy, but would travel up to an hour for a good gunsmith.

The best shotgun gunsmith I know is Eric Woods on Indy southside. If he can handle Purlys and Holland & Hollands he can take care of your Winchester.

For Mother's Day? Probably too late. Good smiths are backed-up at least 3 months right now. To have any chance, you need to get it to someone by Monday.

Is it still functional and just has cosmetics issues? What exactly are you wanting to do to it? It may be something you can do yourself. Check out this thread I just fixed one up this past week.
