Have been thinking of putting up my H&K for trade for a Sig. Was offered a Sig P2022 from a friend for trade and am thinking it over. What's everyone's thoughts on the idea?

If this is a legit question; it'd better be a) a REALLY good friend, b) have a ton of accessories with the Sig, c) have money on his end.

If I"m not mistaken, and not knowing more info on the guns, The USP is at least a $200 > than a 2022.

The HK is worth more, however, I will stand by my opinion that the Sig is a better gun. The 2022 has one of the smoothest trigger pulls I've ever experienced. Also, the sig is thinner and lighter.

If you want an even money value on a trade, only the metal Sigs are similarly valued (P220, P226, etc)

I like guns with frame mounted safety, cause if the gun falls into the wrong hands, it won't be so quick to be shot:D

Criminals know about guns too and they can turn the safety off just like you and just as quick.
If you dont want to be shot dont make your gun fall into the wrong hands.

Good info thanks for the replies. Think I'll hold out for an all metal (226).

Good decision! I'm wondering how good of a "friend" this is, especially if your "friend" is the one that suggested the trade because it sounds like you about got taken advantage of. The HK probably cost TWICE what the Sig did. I might consider it if your friend was gonna throw in at least $200, and that's only if he was a very good friend

Glad to see you kept the H&K. You cant go wrong with a H&K. I think there the best handguns. But that my opinion. No way id trade it for a Sig. Especially when all Sig is having is problems with there guns.

In my opinion I would keep the H&K and save up some cash to buy the Sig Pro which is a good gun too but the H&K is worth way more.

Oh and I love mine btw. :D
