Website doesn't show load data for 147gr using H38 powder. Has anyone loaded 147gr using H38?

Send Hodgdon and email and ask. Let them know exactly what bullet you have; they usually get back to me in a couple working day. HP-38 should be possible with 147gr -- unless they found something in their testing that would exclude it.

An internet search yielded a load for W-231 from the Lee manual BUT THAT WAS FOR A LEAD RN BULLET!

the 2012 Winchester reloading manual stops listing that powder at 125gr projectiles it also stops on 231 at the same. I would likely just go get listed powder and save what you have for 115 and 125 loads. of course thats just me I'm sure it will still go bang hopefully not in a bad way:dunno:
