Bayh's office is on a new street that does not show up on Mapquest or other mapping services. To get there see directions below.
Senator Bayh's office is on the third floor in the Federal Courthouse located at Hohman Avenue and Douglas Street in Hammond. There is no public parking at the Courthouse. There is a Hammond City free parking lot on Russell Street, about two blocks from the Courthouse.
To get to the Courthouse, take the Borman Expressway to the Calumet 41 North exit. Calumet is under construction, so it is down to two lanes and there are no left turns allowed until Conkey Street (the first stoplight after the construction ends). Turn left (West) onto Conkey Street and take it to Hohman Avenue (a stoplight and T-intersection). Turn right (North) onto Hohman. The Courthouse is a big white building, on the right-hand side of the street, at Douglas Street. Continue on to Russell Street, the second street past Douglas, to get to the parking lot . Turn right (East) onto Russell Street from Hohman, and it is about one block further on, on the left-hand side of the street.
We will be protesting in front of the building, on Hohman Avenue.
