Here's a good deal on an older Springfield 1911 (1984).
they don't make blued guns like this anymore
    $650 + $35 shipped seems very reasonable.

I just saw this was active on a FB Dan Wesson group. If I didn't want the Guardian in 9mm I would have followed up on this.

    Dan Wesson 1911 Guardian .45
    $900Flint, Michigan
I am dropping the price to $900.00 on the Guardian. Have been offered $850.00 by local gun shop, but will not let it go for less the $900.00. The pistol is less than a year old, has some small scratch marks from the slide-stop when taking down to clean, (4-500 rnds downrange) other than that, in pristine condition. Original case, paperwork, take-down wrench, two CheckMate stainless 8 rnd mags (one new Kimber mag also), and the DW lock. (never used).
It sells for around $1400.00+ NIB but I will let this one go for 900.00 with overnight shipping FFL to FFL, or if you are close to Flint, Mi. we can meet at an appropriate place to do the paperwork and make the sale.

I recently sold one of these to an Ingo member. Beautiful gun. It was full of Hot Rod parts from the house of Mouse.

The Blued finish is something I do miss. in newer guns.

I'd love to add a blued 1911 to the collection and wish there were more high polish (or even semi-polished) blue guns available.

    Some nice prices!psyko

Yeah they have the 226 E2 I want for $760. Free shipping. Not bad. It is interesting that they say retail is $781. I stopped at a store yesterday and the distributor showed it for $800 and the shop wanted to sell me one for $902.

    Should I buy it?

Dunham's is suppose to have these for $649 black Friday....$499 after rebate. I had a hard time reading the fine print.........but think that is what it said.

From what I saw, the $150 rebate is only on the enhanced or carry guns. The standard R1 or R1S only qualify for the $50 rebate.
