These are one of the answers to people who say you can't buy a quality handgun for under $500. I have had a couple of Hi Power clones and they were awesome shooters. For me they also have a lot more character than some of the off the shelf guns.

This page needs more HiPowers.

The HiPower on top is a Silver Chrome model with Browning OEM wood grips (I've only ever seen one other HiPower with grips like this, and it was also a Silver Chrome model, with Practical sights). This used to have Practical sights, but I had Novak night sights installed. Other than that it's bone stock, complete with mag disconnect.

The lower HiPower is a Mark III Standard, that's had the hammer and sear replaced, new springs, Trijicon night sights, and Herrett Cocobolo grips. It's also been Cerakoted in a two-tone finish. I really like this pistol - it's my daily carry.

My Grail Gun. Maybe someday. I had to pass on one at Highsmith's in Greenfield a few months ago because of no money It was in great shape and only $875 to boot. Oh well.
