I have the opportunity to trade away my Taurus PT111 w/2 mags. I purchased it new. My friend would like something smaller than his Springfield XD45 w/3 mags. He is not the original buyer, but he bought it legit. He wants my pistol for his, I would also be adding $40 and 300 rounds of various 9mm ammo. I would be getting about 50 rounds of 45acp. I am going to JUMP on this unless someone knows something that might make me reconsider.

I currently have the XD and he has the Taurus. I haven't given him the ammo or money yet, so I don't have to worry about it falling through so much. I was just wandering if there was anything I needed to look out for with the XD. I thought it to be an excellent deal for me, personally. I still would like any tips, tricks or info on the Springfield if anyone has any.

He got a slight financial edge on our last deal, but I was still pretty pleased on it from my end, so I consider this my chance to square us up!!

I have a Taurus .40 24/7 LS/DS, that I absolutely love. It runs round after round through it without flaw. I suppose I got "lucky", if you listen to the chatter on the internet.

    BUT...

Even I would jump on that deal with out looking back! Good luck to you and your new XD.

Sounds like a great deal! Nothing really to look out for with the XD, they are great guns. Just feed her plenty of ammo! :D Congrats on your new pistol :yesway:

Can't go wrong with the XD, I traded my XD-9 for a PT-111 and a Savage .22 for my son, then traded the pt-111 for my Kel-Tec P-11... I will NEVER get rid of my P11!!!!, but I miss the XD, sweet, sweet shooter!
