I am pretty sure that has moved to the top of my want list. I have been looking at them pretty heavy the last few days. I reload, and don't want to add any new calibers, but found out I can get what I want in .44 Special. Is that the Cimarron Model P?

Nice! I have a Uberti. I prefer the 'look' of the 5.5" barrel...but mine is identical to yours other than the barrel length.

I want a 44-40 in 'Old West' finish at some point(I assume they make one)

It's a Cimarron but the 'Old' Model P blackpowder frame with the bullseye ejector lever and the screw holding in the center pin. This was the style of the original 1873 before the 'New' Model P 1896 revision to the half-moon ejector and the side cross-pin holding in the center pin.

That is the one I'm looking at!! Only difference is I am looking at the 4.75 in barrel and .44 Special. Did you order it? Or pick it up at a local gun store?

Check post #14 on the other thread.

Give Chris at Marksman Shooting Sports in Westfield, IN a call. He has a lot of SAA/Western pistols in a case at the shop including a Schofield.

Thanks! I looked him up. That is just over an hours drive for me, and I get down that direction pretty often.

Did he happen to have any 4.75 or 5.5 in nickel finish or Stainless?
I'd like to find the Uberti Cattleman Cody or Cattleman Stainless or other similar brand if possible.

I thought I'd seen that gun at Marksman.
He had a "bevy" of them on display.
I asked if he'd bought out an estate, but he indicated they were new.
They looked like they came from the old West.
