    Where's the bacon?
I was informed yesterday that my first great-nephew was born.

    Noah.jpg

The young man's name is Noah Spencer. 6#12oz, 20.75" long, and if I recall, about a week early. Mom is doing well. Noah had some medical problems, but surgery was today and was, in the doctor's words, a "textbook case". I don't know if his father will take him shooting... I consider it unlikely, since they live in NY, but who knows?

Anyway... just wanted to brag a little. :D

    Blessings,
    B

    Congrats. Good looking kid.

So, what firearm did you buy for him?

LOL! nothing yet. I need to find out if his parents are OK with that first. My nephew (the father) was born in Texas, but his wife is a NY girl, and something tells me that she is anti. I've misjudged people before, though, so who knows? (I think it would also be a bitch to get anything transferred to him, to say nothing of safe storage laws (if any) in NY.)

If I find I can, I'll likely try to find him a Cricket or something similar.

    Blessings,
    B

    Congrats!

And as far as firearms go, a cricket would be fine but a bit big for now. With the Heller decision, I would think an NAA revolver should be allowed, even in NY! :):

And if you start it now, you could have the SBR paperwork done & cleared by the boy's third birthday. SBR cricket! W00T!! :rockwoot:
