Harding Street Shooting?

So I was heading over to Kroger to pick a few things up. I live around the Harding Street and Banta Street intersection. As I am pulling up to the intersection, I see Harding is blocked off from Banta most of the day down to Edgewood and there are tons of police cars, especially about midway down outside of one of the houses. Curious, I did a web search and the only thing I could find was from WishTV saying there was a shooting around 6:30am this morning, but there was no date on the video clip, so I have no idea if it was from today or not. I kind of doubt it as it's been a long time since then and I don't know why there would be a police presence still there. I came home and was eating dinner and after a bit there was a very loud bang, like there had been an explosion. Has me wondering just WTF is going on. Anyone have the scoop? This isn't far from the Southwest side IMPD station BTW.

Per my Citizen app and WTHR, MCSO was attempting to serve a warrant on a murder suspect and he barricaded himself in the house with a weapon. Last I heard (about 30 minutes ago) they were getting ready to deploy teargas cannisters into the house. I'm only a couple miles to the northeast of there. That explosion you heard may have been a flash bang after the gas?

Per my Citizen app and WTHR, MCSO was attempting to serve a warrant on a murder suspect and he barricaded himself in the house with a weapon. Last I heard (about 30 minutes ago) they were getting ready to deploy teargas cannisters into the house. I'm only a couple miles to the northeast of there. That explosion you heard may have been a flash bang after the gas?

Could have been. Didn't sound large. One big thump.
