Has anyone heard anything about the S&W E-Series?

I ordered the base model E-Series (don't remember the model number) in late June. The person I buy from said his supplier didn't have any, and would ship one to him when they get some in. Fast forward to now, and I am still waiting on my E-Series.

I talk with my FFL dealer on a regular basis... Am I the only one having trouble getting one, or are others waiting as long as I have been?

I have not seen one in person but seen articles and during a guns & ammo show. They look really nice at some point would like to get one.
