    Didn't mean to come across the wrong way, if I did. The LCP is the micro small 380 Ruger has offered for years. The newly-released LC380 is the "mid-size" 380 based on Ruger's LC9 platform.
    RGriff69 mentioned 3 weeks ago that Big Daddys had 1. Was in there yesterday with my daughter and almost bought it for her. Probably still there.

    Sorry for the false sighting. A lot of the manufacturer's nomenclatures confuse me.

    Real life fact: Not everyone wants or needs a 9mm+ pistol.

    The LC380 fills a real niche in that it is a lower recoil, higher capacity, easier to get a hold of alternative to the LCP and other pocket pistols that is still quite small overall. Also consider that many people these days now already own a 380 pistol as their only handgun; these people may not want or care to add another cartridge to their supply logistics.
