I see... I don't know either...

I've been to military collectors shows and have seen many knife's & uniforms with the swastika & SS on them. I never knew it was illegal in some country's..

France and Germany I think.

Someone better tell Uncle Dick to hide that K98 that Aunt Shirley found for him at a rummage sale all those years ago Nevermind. Uncle Dick's passed on and I'm pretty sure the rifle disappeared in a boating accident ...

Nazi stuff is illegal for German citizens to own.
Anything with with a swastika on it is verbotten to own.
Been like that since the end of the war.
Don't know why they would collect stuff to take back to a place where they can't have them.

No truth in that rumor. Germany had/has a VERY strict policy about the Swastika. Display it and go directly to jail. Even their skinheads wouldn't display it in public. Even German veterans from WWII are discouraged from displaying it. I only know this because I have a friend who just returned stateside after living in Germany on and off for the last 23 years.

My uncle brought home a P-38 from Germany.
