    No truth in that rumor. Germany had/has a VERY strict policy about the Swastika. Display it and go directly to jail. Even their skinheads wouldn't display it in public. Even German veterans from WWII are discouraged from displaying it. I only know this because I have a friend who just returned stateside after living in Germany on and off for the last 23 years.
