Heh, they let me take a couple of shots before the match started to see if she was sighted in okay for me.... could have covered them with a quarter.

cool man. I have a spartan that I actually use when I want to carry a full-sized piece. all I have done is replace the guide rod with a GI setup. shoots quarter sized groups at 10 yds, and I haven't been able to make it fail yet, no matter how I shoot it (gripped hard, loose with only a couple fingers, retention, etc). That's w/ ball or Rem HPs. Good deal for the $. Not a true STI 1911, built overseas on an armscore frame, but they are assembled well and have a good reputation running out of the box.

It'll serve you well.
