Hi
Having jumped in with both feet already (mostly into my own mouth) without following protocol, please allow me to offer a belated, "howdy."
I'm an honorary member of O.L.D.F.A.R.T. (Our Loving Dads: Fathers Are Really Together), a Vietnam Vet, and a life-long shooter...

well... not life-long YET, but as long as I've lived so far, anyhow.

I like dining out, Chinese food, and long walks in...

I like handguns, shotguns, and non-AR15 derivative and non-AK derivative long arms (yes - in fact - I do have my fair share of PTSD). I was never what you'd call an avid hunter, but I did enjoy it and could hold my own in a daily-bag-limit contest. I have an even dozen firearms, and most of them bear sentimental attachments for me, so I'm definable as a, "sentimental softy."
I found you guys while doing research on the Indiana carry-license-holder crime rate, and, after reading a few of the posts, I thought, "yup: This is one of the places I should be hanging out."
So, again, hi from the Thriving Metrollopis of Bloominggultch, Indiana ("Indiana University City," on the new maps), and allow me to say how much I've enjoyed it here already.
