I found this site last year, and have been a lurker since then, but I have been coming here more often lately, and realized that I should introduce myself. I am a relative new gun owner. I purchased my first pistol this past fall, (Springfield XD9), but I had picked that gun out as the one I wanted when I got my permit and took a handgun safety course a year ago.
I am from Elkhart, and work in the IT industry for my day job. This is a great site, and I have learned a lot from being a lurker, hopefully I will learn even more by actually participating in the forums.
