hello to everyone, my name is Kyle. I own a stevens 200 in 308, an ar-15 varmint in 5.56 and a rememington 597 that my very beautiful fieance got me for christmas. I just got into handloading and I love it. That is just a lil about me, gald to be a member of this forum.

Welcome to the forum. I have a AR15 in 5.56 set up for Varmint also. It's not the size of the varmint that requires this round, it is the distance.
