Every time I click the Google Chrome icon to open my browser, up comes a "new tab" that shows the pages of the recently visited sites. This is even after I clear browsing history. On the tab toolbar is Google which I have to click to actually get to Google. Anyone know how I can get rid of the tab? Thanks.

Click on the wrench in the upper right hand corner -> Select Settings -> Look to the left and you will see the options for "On Startup" -> Make sure you choose the option "Open a specific page or set of pages." -> click link to the right of that that says "set pages" and choose what pages you want it to open up whenever you open Google Chrome.
