I am considering converting my Henry .22 lever rifle into a Golden Boy. Is this realistic? It looks like all I need to do is get a brass receiver and matching shoulder stock and transfer the other parts from one to another. Has anyone tried this?

The .22 Henry lever rifles do not have solid receivers like the Win 9422's.
    They have a "cover".
Dunno if brass or brass plated, the .22 Goldenboy covers.
Have seen folks swap them for engraved versions.

I would give Henry a call. They reportedly have a good customer relations/servi e department

Yes, Call or Email Henry they have an Excellent customer relations department. I email them thru their website about info on a particular model not yet in production and 2 days later I received an email back with an estimated date they were going to begin shipping to dealers. :yesway:
