MSRP is stated as being $1200-$1400, so it's right at the base price of a viable AR... if not a bit less

You and I apparently differ on our definition of viable by about $500-$600.

The Long Ranger would be more like the BLR. The thing that makes this Henry unique is the short throw lever that allows AR magazines.

I always thought these were a great option. I know after the whole Australian gun grab these were very popular down under.

Maybe RemArms will revive the 7615.
The Henry looks like a nice let made rifle but I’d go for the Remington if I wanted a manual 223 cal

The gun reminds me of the old Savage 99 in some respects. The interesting thing is the use of conventional AR-15 type magazines. Ya gotta hand it to Henry coming out with all sorts of new long and hand guns over the past year or so.

Which is just a variation of the short throw design that allows the BLR to handle magnum length cartridges.
