Seems like a lot of machining for nothing, I saw much simpler designs on utube.
I don't like the fact that you need to unscrew the end to reload.

Whatever happened to using a piece of a telescoping car antenna, a block of wood, a nail, and a rubber band?

Kids today just don't respect the classics.

Did anyone else notice how he kept pointing it at his own hand while it was loaded? Lucky he has no holes in his hand.

I noticed that. When he started to unscrew it, I thought "wow... that guy's an IDIOT." He could have easily bumped that bolt and fired it right through his hand. Assuming of course that it works, since the .22 is a rimfire, and I'm not sure but that looked kind of center-fire to me...

It looked like the barrel was off center to compensate for the firing pin being on the center line.

very cleanly machined. i wonder why they are often made in .22 short instead of .22LR?

They're probably afraid of the pressure generated by the round. I'd be willing to bet this thing would handle .22WMR no problem, but I wouldn't want to be the one to find out it didn't.

Got a link to a simpler one?

Unscrewing the end was like to simplify the design.
