I recently bought a rough rider 22lr and noticed it had some rough spots on the frame and a few nicks on barrel is this normal for this gun. It was new and not very expensive ($170). I did not notice till after I cleaned it at home.Am i expecting to much for a cheap gun.
I bought one new a few months ago with .22 lr and .22 MAG cylinders. It's clean as a whistle. I would call Heritage and share your concerns. A cheap price tag shouldn't always mean poor quality in my opinion. Who knows they might be willing to replace it or clean it up. You can find there number in the link below. Let use know what you find out.
I contacted heritage and sent them photos and they want me too send it in. Thanks for the quick responses. I bought this at a gun show poor lighting and tons of people crammed in one area will definitely take a flashlight and take my time next time.
