    That looks like they took the skin off the old models. Darn manufacturers making these small cosmetic changes to trick me so I keep pouring my money into their product!

    Looks like something that a prisoner made from smuggled-in materials. I used to watch Lockup a lot, and some of the weapons these guys made were really freaking ingenious. The simple ones were a piece of pipe for a chamber, and a rod on a spring that can be pulled back and will snap forward on release to hit the primer. Some of the complicated ones were pretty absurdly elaborate, though. Always blew my mind that they were made in secret, with such a limited availability of materials; what could these same guys make if they were outside, and had access to a hardware store?
