Hey… what’s on your key ring?
    Hi Group
I was sitting hear waiting on a web page to load… Looked at my key ring and wondered what if anything you have on your key rings?
I have in addition to my keys (to many!)
    1) Leatherman Micra
    a. USABLE sharp knife
    b. Flat Philips
    c. Flat screw driver
    d. Bottle opener
    e. File
    f. Small micro screwdriver… sharpend to awl sharpness.
    g. Nail file and cleaner
    h. Usable scissors
    i. Small ruler
    j. Tweezers
This little key ring knife amazingly durable and useful, much more so that say… a Swiss army type key chain knife… for what you get… its well worth the $$
    2) Micro aluminum Mag light (single triple A)
    a. About all the paint worn off but works great
    b. Use it also to stick into the pocket of my jeans and let the rest of the ring dangle on the outside
    3) Small 3 foot tape measure… (Stanly I think) sticker and paint worn off… ) I use it quite a bit in the shop… or ?
I of course have other EDC but I always have my keys…

    Other key ring ideas?

Keys. Guess you don't have broadband huh? LOL!

Just kidding, I really only have keys on mine, I hate crap hanging down and jingling when I drive but I do have several sets of keys for my house and different cars so I just use those fake climbing hooks so I can clip them to my belt and separate them easily. Knife and flashlight in my pocket, tool kit in the truck.

Just the minimum number of keys and the shopper cards/YMCA card. In the summer I carry the keys in my pants pocket, always try to keep the load light.

Keys to van, car, truck, back door, front door, bedroom, safe, 2 mini vaults, one trigger lock, shopping card, nail clippers, Jet (of course), multi tool with 3 blades/bottle opener, 2 screw drivers, pliers, and a flashlight, a USMC tag from Jay and a hair barrette/1911tool…all held on an carabiner that can release any one group individually… :)

if you carry too much on your car key ring, the extra weight will wear out your ignition. I knew several girls with large amounts of extra stuff on their key rings who wore out their ignitions in high school.

This is why I use a carribeener, I just take of the keys for the vehicle I am driving.

I never understood how people get around with 1,000 damned keys on their key ring.

I always carry my Truck Key, Truck Box Key, Truck Fob, and House Key on one ring in my weak side pocket. I don't need any more than that on it.

When I am at I work I also carry a Key Fob with Shop Key 1 and Shop Key 2 in my strong side pocket.
