When I win the Powerball and/or the MegaMillions (any day now!), I'm going to design a house with multiple hidden rooms. Also a huge separated - yet nearby - Toy Garage. And there'll be a tunnel under ground to access it. Hidden entrances on both ends. Potentially with a hidden room or two off the corridor.

But then I'll have to figure out what to do with the folks who design and build it for me... Ahem.

Mine will be a modest looking ranch with about 4 or 5 levels below ground with tunnels going to various outside spots. All in the middle of a very large wooded patch of land.

    are you me?

I'd also like just a modest ranch house - but I want the first basement level to be at least 2x the SQ Ft as the home on top. And MAYBE another basement level below that.

A lot of that probability has to do with groundwater however. Water table is quite high in a lot of places - that makes basements and sub-basements hard to accomplish - even with industrial equipment.

Better insulate and add a heater. I swam for 30 seconds in a basement pool that was unheated. (one of the mansions on the campus of Marian College) Water temps hit the low to mid 60s without a heater.

If I had the $$$$ to do something like that, believe me, it would be heated! 60 degrees is right about groundwater temperature!

That's kind of the point! LOL
Um not really. You need to be able to showcase your work. Take pictures of the completed room with no weapons when the construction is completed.
Taking pictures from the outside: yes, that would be dumb.

(I am always amazed at the number of real estate listings that have pictures posted with a giant gun safe in the corner.)
