NO, not your MPG, but how many original miles your car/truck has done.

I don't think I'm going to win this, but I just rolled over 175 the other day...

4cyl 5SFE Toyota Camry, 1994. Everything is original aside from the usual tune up items/brakes/rotors (they even might be original, I don't know). My calipers are original, the alternator, starter.

All I've really done to it is:
replaced the water pump, timing belt, idler pulley, tensioner pulley and spring. new plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor, air filter, changed the oil twice, run lucas through it and last week swapped out the pads for some Duralast Gold CMAXs from work (Ceramic pads, lifetime warranty).

Next major thing that I need to do is fix the leaky exhaust. I'm going for the ghetto fix since I don't want to drop $200 into this thing.

Oh yeah, cleaned up my yellow headlight lenses too, and painted the silver/fading grille a nice black. I may at some point paint the hood black too since its paint is fading and looks like crap.

What's the ghetto fix? Scotch tape?

    HAH... :D not quite.

Muffler tape and muffler sealant... really nasty stuff.

I just baulk at paying someone $200 to weld it back together. If I could weld I'd do it myself... though I'm sure I'm wasting more than $200 in wasted gas mileage because of the lack of back pressure.

One of my VW Corrados has over 200K on it. The other one has 120K and the Jetta only has about 90K on it. My ex's Jetta had 250K on it.

    175,000 / 18 = 9700 miles a year.

Since I bought mine in September 11 I've put on around 3000 miles. Mainly just around Lake County and one trip to Winamac.

237K on the 96 Suburban before she spontaneously combusted (in 2009).

None of the others even come close to that. I think the highest one is my GT at 137K give or take.

I got a 2000 Hyundai Accent 188,000 and it still gets 42 mpg.

My dad just got rid of a 96 Dodge Ram with 380,000. Original motor 2nd trans.
