Depends on what scenery you want. There's the Delphi Canal trail, the Wabash trail either North or South from Tapawingo Park. The Hills is pretty nice. Or go to Turkey Run or Shades ... Or Potholes (although not a long hike).

I'm looking for things to do in Tipp. County in general. Moving up there in a few months to a new job and have no real connections with the area. Any ideas?

WOW, I think we need a bit more info on what you like to do. There are some really nice street parties with great music throughout the summer. All kinds of activity groups (bike, running). Give us some idea of what you'd like to do.

cobber, I like the Wabash Heritage Hike. Good times and Heron Island is pretty. Heron Island is like Monster Island but fewer monsters and more Herons.

Ummm, well, there's a lot of things to do:

    1. Hit the Farmer's Market downtown for yummy fresh food.
    2. Dining out, Lafayette/West Lafayette has a wide variety of options.
    3. Wolf Park.
    4. Round the Fountain Art Fair.
    5. Book Sale at the county library.
    6. Gun shows, gun stores.
    7. Prophetstown Sate Park.
    8. Hiking.
    9. Bird Watching.
    10. Biking Trails.
    11. Going shooting.
    12. Bookstores and hanging out in bookstores.
    13. Checking out the Battle Ground Monument.

However, what people really enjoy is working on Kirk's house/yard for free. It's great exercise and you feel better about yourself helping Kirk.

If you can't find anything you want to do in Tippecanoe Co... What makes you think you have to go all the way to BrownCo?

Head down to Shades or Turkey Run!!!!
