Does anyone have experience with the .410slugs and Encore barrels produced by Hoening (http://hoeningbigboresouth.com/welcome1.html)? They seem to have taken the .410 slug into the serious big-bore rifle relm while retaining the status of "shotgun slug".
I am a big fan of the 45-70 and wish I could use it for deer here in IN; these guys are claiming over 1200fps with a 375 gr slug and good accuracy - that is pretty good for a 410!
