Agree, but think I would have chickened out and alerted the momma bear farther away when I first saw her, especially when there's other people in the woods...I crave seeing bears as much as anybody, but would hate having to shoot one with cubs. If she was coming from a different direction than the beaters were flushing the hogs, getting forced into making a shot her direction could be dangerous for the other folks.

Wow, great shooting though! I always thought the Europeans were funny with their driven-hunt parties, but when one goes well like this one, it's really a special thing.
