I knew Doug when he was the elected Sheriff of Hamilton County. I don"t recall him ever speaking out for or against constitutional carry. I knew that he was a good Sheriff for the two terms that he served. He really did some outstanding things during his tenure. Sad to see him talk against constitutional carry.I wonder if anyone on here knew Carter when he was Sheriff.
Did his views change when he was then appointed to the State?

You need to dig deeper. He was a very good sheriff…I respect and appreciate your opinion, but all I know of this gentleman is press related to CC and the Delphi murders. Terribly disappointing to me in both cases. I'd fire him tomorrow, if given the chance.
That may very well be true which makes it all the more disappointing that he decided to **** all over his own legacy. You need to dig deeper. He was a very good sheriff…
Maybe in citations, but the LTCH has been without fees paid to his dept. for a year or two now.Doug Carter doesn’t believe in the effectiveness of LTCH permits in the performance of LE duties. He believes in the effectiveness of the revenue generation machine he has at ISP.

I think it's less a money thing and more a control thing.
