Yep. DO. YOUR. JOB. Lawmakers did theirs, now you just have to do yours. Is it as easy since somebody else isnt doing your work for you? No. Too bad. Life isnt always easy.

I wonder if anyone on here knew Carter when he was Sheriff.

Did his views change when he was then appointed to the State?
I knew Doug when he was the elected Sheriff of Hamilton County. I don"t recall him ever speaking out for or against constitutional carry. I knew that he was a good Sheriff for the two terms that he served. He really did some outstanding things during his tenure. Sad to see him talk against constitutional carry.

I respect and appreciate your opinion, but all I know of this gentleman is press related to CC and the Delphi murders. Terribly disappointing to me in both cases. I'd fire him tomorrow, if given the chance.

    Where's the bacon?
Doug Carter doesn’t believe in the effectiveness of LTCH permits in the performance of LE duties. He believes in the effectiveness of the revenue generation machine he has at ISP.
Maybe in citations, but the LTCH has been without fees paid to his dept. for a year or two now.

I think it's less a money thing and more a control thing.
