I have grown fond of the Fobus paddle holsters. I have one for my 1911 and my Kel ted 380. They are easy on and off since they are paddle type holsters and the easy draw with the molded plastic is nice as well. I have never been worried about losing the pistol since it is not strapped in.
If you are OCing then nothing beats a Tucker Gunleather HF1 (as long as you don't mind the wait but well worth it, I have one for my Kimber Tactical Ultra II)
I personally like blackhawk and have one for my 1911 but when I think 1911 I think leather. So initially I also bought a leather paddle holster, great buy too.
Bought this one from S&S holsters for my Grand Raptor. This is the best holster I have ever owned easy off and on don't have to undo my belt it and it holds the gun securely. Leather with shark trim around $60.00 cheaper than most like this.
OC? I prefer the Blackhawk Serpa. CC? I like my UBC leather IWB. Get a few and try 'em out. Somebody on here will pick 'em up if you want to get rid of 'em.
