How do I get a C&R?

Hi INGOers I'm a gun newbie and stuff so this may sound dumb but I'd figure I'd ask it anyway. I love historical firearms, I own a Mosin Nagant 91/30 and when I have the money I want to get more firearms (especially historical ones), so my question is how do I acquire a C&R? I want one so if I find a rifle or pistol I want that is C&R okay I can order it online (i.e. gunbroker or J&G sales) in case my local gun shop doesn't have it or can't acquire it. Any help is welcome.

Step 1. Get form from ATF
Step 2. Fill out form and mail to ATF with fee
Step 3. Wait for C&R to arrive
Step 4. ....don't profit.

Print the forms from the links on this page How to acquire your C&R FFL license and follow the step by step directions. Pay the $30 fee and set back an wait for it to come in.

Any question after that, just ask - many FFL03 holders here on INGO. Remember, an FFL03 brings on a certain amount of added paperwork you must complete properly and the potential for a BATFE audit - but it's worth it.
