Most of the time I carry a Ruger sp101 with Gold Dot .357 hollow points.
there is not a saftey. Just point and pull the trigger.

Sometime carry a 9mm glock modifed to shoot conbon:draw: defensive rounds one in the chamber full magazine.

Using a Crossbreed pancake CC holster. :ar15:

couldnt imagine carrying any other way. if you did need it do you really think you'll have time to rack the slide?

If I'm carrying my beretta tomcat, one chambered safety on.
If I'm carrying the S&W sigma, one chambered no safety except for the trigger like a glock.

I've only read of a few firearms that have fired without a trigger pull, and I believe they were shotguns. It's called a slamfire, I believe.

When it comes to the pistol in your holster, it's not going to fire unless you pull the trigger.

The only time I've ever carried with a magazine in, safety on, and no round chambered was in the military. Completely different situation.

Not real well worded poll--concerns only firearms that have a hammer and manual safety.

If I am carrying a striker fired semi auto, chamber is loaded, and if it has a manual safety, it is on. If a revolver, it is loaded.

With hammer fired guns, do you think that the sight of a hammer pulled back as any effect on others reactions?

I get a few comments by old guys at the range worried I'm gonna blow my leg of cause its cocked. I really don't know why unless they aren't thinking I am carrying it and just shooting it at the range and therefore not on safe? :dunno:

Not really a big deal, but to answer the original question, Kimber 1911 and a Taurus PT92 both Condition 1. That is the main reason I went with the Taurus and not a Beretta was because of the Cocked and Locked safety.
