Just what, pray tell, was the basis for these ratings? Based on giving both Beretta and Taurus an "F" and SIG a "D-" tells me it's a bunch of the proverbial bovine scatology.

BBB is not a rating of a companies service or customer service really. It's a rating of how satisfied a company makes the 1% of customers that are angry enough to go to BBB to complain. I've filed a few complaints myself over the years, in the end it really doesn't matter. Make a well informed decision based on the product, not based on the 1% of angry people.
