    99 cents a can, red devil lye. Every trapper uses it every year for cleaning traps. 3 bucks will make enough soap for two, three years.

    Since it is used for more then just soap in larger quantities and I'm limited on storage, I figured I would just get it written down on how to make it since I should have plenty of wood ash left over.

    Understandable, but if you are preparing, 3 bucks will give you enough for your chores and a lot more. Regardless, best to you and yours.
