A old Colt police positive. I paid $69 for it . It was in rough shape. I re-blued it and replaced the grips. Then after using it for about two years I sold it for $200. I picked up a Colt trooper new in the box to replace it and still have it.

My first and only handgun to date...(bought about 3 weeks ago) Beretta 92fs $630 before tax. I decided on the 92fs after a lot of research and rented one to shoot. I wanted something full frame, durable, not a lot of polymer.

Was about $250 for a S&W model 19. Blue with a 2 inch barrel. That's was 1982. 357 out of a snub nose just isn't as much fun as it used to be.

Ruger P89DC in 1991. $289 at Grandpa's in Clarksville, TN. They even gave me 50 rounds free for being an MP at Ft Campbell at the time. We had a pacifist "sniper" threatening to kill soldiers because of Desert Storm and the MP's were front and center at the gates. Vests were not in the system at the time so they issued us flak jackets.

My first handgun was a Taurus PT92. It was a great gun and i got it for $350. Never had any issues and At the time was not familiar with the stigma against Taurus Handguns. I have to say it was extremely reliable and I never had an issues except I spent a lot on ammo the first year I owned it going out shooting every week.
