    Ya'll must be young'uns. S&W Mod 10 38 spl purchased in 1967, $67.50 tax included. #2 S&W Mod 19 357 mag purchased in 1975, $125.00 @ Poff's in Terre Haute. Don't even want to look at the cost of the rest of 'em, as it may cause me to wet myself.

    Well, I'll just go with first handgun purchased as an adult with my own money,That would be a S&W 13-3 for $300 from a dealer in a Santa hat at a gunshow.

    It was somewhere around 1985, a 22 single action revolver. Still own it, $79 brand new. Its still my woods gun and my
    middle of the night somethings in the chicken house gun.
