    I have read the FAQ on how to delete posts but it hasn't actually gotten me to understand how to do it. Can anyone help me with this? I accidentally posted the same thing twice and want to delete one of them.

    You can't. You can edit them, but not delete. Simply report the post and a mod will take care of it for you.
