As the saying goes, a picture says a 1000 words...

If you want to sell your gun, make sure you take quality pictures that demonstrate not only how great the gun looks, but how great the buyer will look holding that gun.

    Here is an example:

Couple that up with some amazing ad copy and buyers will be filling up your voice mail/email with offers.

Do people really put $1400 into .22 plinkers? Does he really have $1400 in it?

He should have at least had a camo shower curtain in the background.

Overpriced and silly or not, it's still a better ad than 70% of the ads in the INGO classifieds

    Whoa bitter much?

I cruised the classifieds this morning, just to kill time. I saw some creative pricing. Still wondering why someone would pay as much for a used gun as they could pick it up new from a shop. But hey there must be a lot of concern over paper trails, that is all I can come up with.

My favorite part of the ads is when they say no pics it looks just like every other XX gun. That just sends me into hysterical laughter.

It is funny, but I think he is pulling a fast one an ya'll.

I read it and think it was intended to be in The Onion's classifieds.

Except he has listed that gun for sale multiple times. His price is creeping up because he keeps adding accessories.

You can see his other ads because he never deactivated them. He apparently was looking for a rail mountable 37mm flare launcher for it back in September. He also still has his add up from September where he was looking to buy a vortex red dot (that is now sitting on that rifle).
