I bought a handgun last year at a gun show and I have decided to sell it.
What do you ask for when selling a handgun to someone you do not know?
I have never sold a gun before so I need some advice.
    Thanks.

You don't have to ask anything.

2 good ones if you wish:

Are you a proper person?/Have you ever been convicted of a felony?
    Are you an Indiana resident?

to be safe I would match their drivers license to their carry permit to help insure they are a legal resident and not a convicted felon

    For Handguns:
    1) Are you 18 or older?
    2) Are you a resident of Indiana?
    3) Are you legally allowed to possess firearms?
    4) Do you have the cash?
    5) Thank you and have a nice day.

The link posted by MCgrease08 contains the relevant Indiana Code. Follow the law, don't add to it or subtract from it.

What is said above. If it makes you feel better you can also draw up some sort of receipt, but it's not needed.

If anything feels shady don't be afraid to back out.
