Hmmm.... For that much I'd probably bump it up a tad and go with a rotary tumbler. Bear in mind it is an 18 pound tumbler and that includes your tumbling media and your water. I use 5 pounds of stainless steel media, 13 pounds of water, and 2 pounds of brass per cycle in my tumbler and it's a rotary and only 15 pounds.

I wanted the rotary, but I came across a fair price here on INGO for a Lyman 2200 Turbo Tumbler. It has a drain so when I am done cleaning the brass, I pull the plug and it empties all the media into a catch pan leaving my brass in the bowl.

I tumble about 500 rounds at a time, though I have been told I can probably tumble twice that.

I get clean, shiny brass in less than 4 hours.

I can fit a few thousand easily into my cement mixer.

I had some brass that I somehow got some nasty gunk on and the walnut media stuck to it. I soaked it in water, dish soap and lemii shine. Nearly as clean and no media everywhere.
