I have no idea what an AK bolt looks like, I was wondering what was this design before I read it was an AK bolt.

Is the white line under "arms channel" intenional? Personally I think it would look better without the gradient white. I have some experience in Photoshop so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Ok, I cleaned it up and took some of the advice. I made the green darker and I got rid of the "glow" around the text.

That looks the best now, the fading green and glow didn't make it pop out. Definately sweet!!

I know I wore one of his medals in combat for a year. It was a rather nice one that has the seal of the Army on the back, I've even seen them with the EGA.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of that. I liked the Cross of St. James because of the simplicity. I like the way the cross looks I suppose.

#1. The additional colors make it "pop" more, and the Cross of St. James looks better at smaller sizes (like your avatar). Plus, very few people are going to recognize the stylized AK bolt for what it is... and you guys review more (way more) than just AKs...

I voted for #1 also, it reminds me of the beret flashes too. The AK bolt logo doesnt look as nice as the AR15.com bolt face logo.
