I wish guns had names not numbers. Do you have a name for your favorite gun?

I tend to be a little lame in naming.
"Walther" for my P-22 (since I only own one walther)
"Wheelie" for my 357 magnum (once again because I own 1)
"Boomstick" "Good, Bad, I'm the guy with the gun"
and "the glock" (same boring reason, although this will change)

My AR was originally a DPMS "Sportical" but its far from that now.

    Hiding from reality
Suprised no one else call their go to AR "My Black Stick of Death" (I do :D) My carry piece (S&W 1911) is called Mrs. Smith. It would be weird to me to pet name a weapon with the masculine gender.

I used to have a 30-40 Krag in military config. It took a lot of elk. My huntin' buddies used to call it "That Sumb*tch".

At least I think they were talkin' about the rifle and not me......

Not usually one for giving my guns names, but I do call my Ruger Super Blackhawk "Thumper". It thumps the **** out of anything I point it at.

Me and a buddy call my Mossberg O/U "The Tank".

Its an entry level O/U so without a recoil pad it tends to hurt the shoulder pretty bad. Its heavy too.

One of my main home guns is the PX4 STORM.

Like, "Honey, have you seen where I put my pistol?"
Or "Hey kids, one of you crumb crunchers bring me by gun."

When I find someone in the Elkhart to do engraving, going to name my .50bmg God of Thunder. Yes a direct nod to KISS.
