Went in to Ace & Rico's the other day and saw this but I can't seem to find much info on it? Anybody have any good info? It was really cool but definitely had some wear. I keep thinking about it but I just don't know if I can justify spending the money
That's because it is. Irwindale Arms, Inc. (IAI) was the short-lived (1988-1991) successor to AMT. The 10mm Javelina (7" barrel!) was made under both names.
Little leary of Ace & Rico's.
Tried calling and the phone # is no good, Tried emailing and nothing there either?
What the Heck kind of business is it? Fly by night. Humm
They sure are not out to service the public or I would have been replyed to.
I was there about two months ago and it looked like they were either packing up and moving out or moving in. There wasn't much stuff inside at all, and there was one guy working who didn't say much while I was there. So who knows if it is currently open or not.
I own as well and found that if you keep the slide well lubed it should function fine. I use Rigs stainless grease on the slide. I generally do on all my semiauto slides.
I am trying to find a 10mm Javelina to buy, that is why I tried to contact them.
But if someone has one they want to part with that would do as well.
