Ideal flash hider for 14.5" 308?

What flash hider should I put on? Come with a nice muzzle brake but this ain't no range queen

Actually, the POF Muzzle Brakes are pretty awesome for recoil. They're hard to beat.

I second this. POF breaks are great. My gen 4 p415 is loud but the breaks are a great design



Plus getting the thing un pinned and welded would suck.

I have yet to shoot the gun (pending this weekend) but assuming I like it otherwise, I absolutely plan on switching to a FH. So, which one? AAC blackout, Surefire 3 prong? I will not give my money to Smith Enterprises due to what I have heard about their business practices, suing dissatisfied customers, IP law strategies, etc

Unpinning/welding issues aren't an issue, would just send the upper back to POF for the change to be made. The trick is to only do that once.

Well, if you plan for a suppressor later, which one would you pick? That could help you decide. But honestly, the POF ones are pretty hard to beat.

It depends on what you are planning to do with the rifle. What applications are you setting up this rifle for(i.e. running a suppressor)?
