This may be a ridiculous question, it may not.

During the summertime, I usually wear a lot of basketball shorts/jogger pants.
Used to just leave piece locked in my vehicle when going into places.

Curious as to what are some options out there other than pocket carry that would be comfortable, yet concealed?

Looking forward to your ideas and experiences in a similar matter.

    Thanks in advance INGO!

I haven't personally used this, but have heard good things. Theoretically you could even carry naked if you want.

    Just not in public please.

    You're welcome.

It's like riding a motorcycle. You don't dress for comfort. You dress for the ride.
    Baloney.

You don't need stiff cowhide or kydex to be a REAL gun guy. I have lots of both and wear them under most circumstances.

I also have a Comfortac belly band when I'm in shorts or sweats. I wouldn't stuff it with a 1911 or N frame but it holds a Shield plus and a spare mag with no problems.

    THUNDERWEAR!
This, or a belly band or a fanny pack.
EDIT: If you have a pocket pistol (LCP for example) I have a small Thunderwear I can give you. found it in the back of the closet when my wife wanted to carry hers in leggings. At least I think I do. (wife may have tossed it, not sure)

no heavier than a pocket knife. Wife & I wear this clipped to it all - pajama pants, basketball shorts, etc. no problem

    No trigger cover?
If I carried for a long time I used to use one of those garrison grip rubber stoppers but eventually quit that - I don’t carry this way typically because I’m not often wearing sweats, shorts, etc. When I do it’s usually for a quick errand or so and this way I get to carry when I previously done what OP said & left it in the car/house
